Nowadays, everything is available for our generation. For decades information
was synonymous of money, you had to pay in order to receive knowledge (and it
was quite expensive), which means that if you weren't part of the high
sociality you wouldn't even know what a cell is. So that's why Youtube it's
right now my favorite website. Because it's the democratization of information.
Now I have access to million of free courses that teaches things that I like,
and in my point of view, increases any possibilities to achieve my
goals further that any generation before the internet had existed.
Now I can visit the website every day looking for news. music and
courses that I would like to watch. It's impressive the speed which the
information travels around the planet. It's becoming more familiar the concept
of knowing what it's happening in a little town in Ukraine in the other side of
the world, but I think that we haven't really measure the impact of this new
reality in our common reality. We have forgotten the responsibilities that
websites like youtube have. It's a great tool to learn from how to fix a
computer to how run a startup. But it seems that we our stuck in
between procrastination and cats videos.
